Regis
A Few miles east of Musbury there is the lovely old town of Lyme
regis which is a gateway to the Jurrasic coastline, now a World Heritage
site.
Lyme's
coastline is famous for it's fossil hunting, sandy beaches and ideal walking
locations. It also has a lovely olde worlde charm high street, full of
delightful eating places and individual shops.
Seaton
Seaton is a charming coastal seaside town and is famous for the electric
tramway which meanders it's way along the Axe Estuary (AONB)
to Colyton village. A must visit.
Sidmouth
It feels like you've stepped back in time when you visit the
quiet unhurried charm of the regency seaside town of Sidmouth.
Beer
Visit the unspoilt fishing village of Beer, famous for it's underground
caves. Or visit the gardens high on the cliffs overlooking splendid sea
views.
Honiton
The East Devon market town, once famous for it's lace and pottery has
numerous specialist shops dedicated to these crafts, but is also known
for antiques and anitiquarian books.
Honiton
also stages a yearly summer festival, agricultural show and district carnival.
Budleigh Salterton
Situated in the centre of a beautiful bay on the western side of the River
Otter estuary, Budleigh Salterton is a tranquil town where you will find
quality shops and delightful village walks along the seashore.
